Simple content management
In the open source arena, is there a content management system for small businesses which meets the following criteria?
- Extremely lightweight and accessible but packed with enough features under the hood to make things work smartly, quickly and reliably.
- Fully file based, so you don't need a database or an expensive hosting package to publish content to your website.
- Very quick, easy and simple to use and with a consistent, clean, intuitive and friendly user interface.
- Allows you to simply and quickly create your website pages without having to learn any HTML, CSS, PHP, ASP, XML or any other language, whether it uses a cryptic acronym or not.
- Creates links to your new pages automatically and allows you to easily categorise them so they display in different menus.
- Produces optimised website pages, including nice and clean addresses to those pages, which the search engines love and your visitors will appreciate.
Is there an affordable content management system which does all the above, and which allows the small business owners to maintain a simple website without having to own a pilots license?
