Ebay and the Skype hype - deux

A couple of years ago I wandered if the Ebay executives made some bad decisions while under the influence of alcohol. Now, Australian IT reports that:

“Ebay’s original plan was to integrate Skype into its online auctions so, for example, sellers and buyers could call each other instantly using their computers. This course seems to have been abandoned by Ebay.”

Now, that was money well-spent, wasn’t it?

    "wandered" or "wondered"?

    I was wondering who'd pick up on my use of that word and I shouldn't be at all surprised that it's you, Vlado. However, I did mean "to ramble without a definite purpose or objective".

    Knowing you, I thought there was a good chance that was what you meant, hence the reason I merely questioned your meaning and didn't correct you ;)
